Hearing Health Seminar with Home Hearing Healthcare
On November 11th, 2025, the Ridgeland Senior Adult Programs hosted an engaging and educational Hearing Health Seminar presented by Dr. Carrie Snyder and Dr. Anna Scarbrough from Home Hearing Healthcare. The event was a huge success — what a great crowd, full of enthusiasm and participation!
Attendees enjoyed a morning of learning about all things hearing health, including:
- Understanding hearing loss – what causes it and how to recognize the signs.
- Hearing protection – how to prevent damage from noise exposure.
- Hearing aids – the latest technology and how they can dramatically improve quality of life.
- Healthy hearing habits – simple steps to preserve your hearing for years to come.
In addition to the educational session, participants received free hearing screenings and a video otoscopy — an incredible opportunity to see the inside of their own ears and check for any concerns.
Dr. Snyder and Dr. Scarbrough shared their expertise with warmth and compassion, answering questions and helping everyone better understand the importance of hearing health. Their knowledge and care truly made a difference — we can’t thank them enough for taking the time to support our community!
